RCMP officer sticks to story of political interference

Chief Supt. Darren Campbell said his recollection stands that Commissioner Brenda Lucki and former public safety minister Bill Blair meddled politically in the investigation into the April 2020 shooting spree in Nova Scotia that killed 23 people. Campbell spoke to the House of Commons public safety committee as it sorts through conflicting reports about what happened in a tense meeting with Lucki and Nova Scotia RCMP nine days after the tragedy.
