WASHINGTON. x--16s. U-S President Donald Trump is falsely claiming that he tried to stop his supporters from chanting "Send her back!" in reference to a Somali-born Democratic congresswoman. Speaking this afternoon at the White House, Trump said he "was not happy" when supporters began shouting the phrase at a rally last night in North Carolina. He was asked why he did not stop supporters from chanting.
