SAINT JOHN, New Brunswick. x--34s. Dennis Oland has been found not guilty of second-degree murder in the 2011 bludgeoning death of his multi-millionaire father, Richard. Justice Terrence Morrison of the New Brunswick Court of Queen's Bench delivered his decision this morning to a packed courtroom in Saint John. Oland's lawyer, Alan Gold, says he hopes people will reflect on the misery his client has gone through after two trials.

TAG: Oland was found guilty by a jury at his first trial in 2015. That verdict was overturned on appeal and this second trial was before a judge alone.
