Newsroom Ready: Caribou airlifted to new island home in wake of wolf predation

The Ontario government has started relocating an endangered caribou herd from a Lake Superior island where the population had dwindled due to hunting by wolves. The first animals were taken by helicopter Saturday to the Slate Islands.
