Britain Prince Philip Arc of the Century

FILE - In this file photo dated Feb. 26, 1961, Britain's Queen Elizabeth II steps ashore at Bombay, India, for a visit to the atomic energy plant at the "Gateway to India," which King George V called "the jewel of the British crown" during his 1911 visit. Prince Philip who is accompanying the Queen on the state tour, can be seen nearing top of the Gangplank hat in hand. Prince Philip who died Friday April 9, 2021, aged 99, lived through a tumultuous century of war and upheavals, but he helped forge a period of stability for the British monarchy under his wife, Queen Elizabeth II. Philip helped create the Commonwealth of nations, with the queen at its head, in an attempt to bind Britain and its former colonies together on a more equal footing. (AP Photo, FILE)
