B.C. scales back non-urgent surgeries

As COVID-19 hospitalizations hit a record-high 502 in B.C., health officials say they’re reducing non-urgent and scheduled surgeries in nine Lower Mainland hospitals starting next week. Health Minister Adrian Dix says he expects the reduction will need to be in place for at least two weeks.
