Ontario Nurses' Association Rally to Repeal Bill 124 Now 20210528

Registered nurse Myla Santos participates in her union’s online Rally to Repeal Bill 124 Now from her Toronto apartment on May 28, 2021. Adopted in November 2019 by the Ford government, Bill 124 is wage suppression legislation that targets predominantly female professions in Ontario’s public sector, like nurses and teachers, while exempting male-dominated employee groups such as police and firefighters. This law is the subject of a Charter challenge filed by Canada’s largest nurses’ union in December 2019. Ontario Nurses' Association/Gregory Bennett
