In Montreal, where there have been 4,558 deaths associated with the disease, a short ceremony was held with Mayor Valerie Plante. Quebec Premier Francois Legault marked the one year anniversary of the pandemic that has killed more than 10,500 people in the province with bereaved families, front-line service workers and political leaders.
