Cruise ship passengers Gary and Sue Lyon of Toronto were among the more than 62,000 Canadians who were brought home during the government’s massive repatriation efforts at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic last year. Gary got COVID-19 after returning and Sue developed symptoms too and while both have recovered, they wonder about lingering effects. Almost a year later, they reflect on how they made it home.
