Newsroom Ready: Police make B.C. logging protest arrests
RCMP officers have arrested at least five people in what could be several days of police actions in remote wilderness areas of Vancouver Island. Protesters opposed to old-growth logging in the Port Renfrew area have set up several forest camps in recent weeks to halt logging, but RCMP have moved in to enforce a B.C. Supreme Court injunction.
