N.L. lifts controversial pandemic travel ban, nearly 14 months after it began

Canadian travellers will once again be welcome in Newfoundland and Labrador without needing government clearance to visit as the province lifts its controversial pandemic travel ban. Newfoundland and Labrador first enacted the ban on May 4, 2020, which restricted access for all but essential visitors and required them to isolate for two weeks upon arrival.
