PUPILS OF JARVIS STREET VOCATIONAL SCHOOL HOLD OPEN HOUSE FOR RELATIVES AND FRIENDS — The Junior Vocational School, 361 Jarvis Street, Toronto, held open house today, April 16, 1930. The picture shows a few of the 500 boys of the school and a little of the work they do. Shown is a bridge of boys. Albert Mundy, leader of the J.V.S. acrobatic company, is centre pier of the bridge. The right-hand ramp is Earl Penrose, Albert and Earl are champion tumblers of the school — it would be safe to say of all the schools in Toronto. Photo by John Boyd / The Globe and Mail
