Half of Canadians want public service cuts: poll

Andrew Enns, Leger's executive vice-president for Central Canada, says a new poll suggests there is a widespread belief among Canadians that the federal public service needs to shrink. Franco Terrazzano, federal director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, says the bureaucracy has ballooned since 2016 and that Canadians can't afford to pay for a bloated federal bureaucracy.
