Scenes from northern Ontario's Ring of Fire region
As part of a reporting project in northern Ontario, The Canadian Press captured scenes from the hard-to-reach Ring of Fire region that is said to be rich in critical minerals — including Webequie First Nation, a planned mining site, Neskantaga First Nation and a settlement on the Attawapiskat River. This video was supported by the Pulitzer Center. (Dec. 10, 2025)
