A popular selfie spot for visitors to Banff National Park is being moved and town officials expect it to be safer and at the centre of an eco friendly tourist hub beginning this fall. The two-metre-high, $350,000 “Banff” sign was installed in 2017 but led to traffic snarls and near misses with pedestrians. (Aug. 5, 2025)
