Iain Rankin named future Nova Scotia premier

Nova Scotia's Liberals chose 37-year-old Iain Rankin, a former cabinet minister and self-described agent of generational change, on Saturday to become party leader and the province's next premier. He edged out two of his fellow former cabinet ministers in the three-man race to succeed Premier Stephen McNeil, who announced his retirement last summer.
