Uncertainty remains around number of vaccine doses bound for Canada this month

Procurement Minister Anita Anand says 30,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will arrive this week, with a similar number expected next week. She says a firmer delivery schedule for Canada’s initial tranche may come from the supplier this week, but uncertainty remains around precisely how many shipments will cross the border before 2021, with possibilities ranging from 60,000 to 249,000 doses.
