Conservative MP Michael Cooper and NDP MP Peter Julian say a public inquiry on foreign interference is needed following testimony of former governor general David Johnston, who is defending his report on the matter. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says opposition attacks on Johnston's character are irresponsible and unserious, and parliamentarians need to work together.
