Yukon First Nations celebrate the 50th anniversary of landmark policy document

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in Whitehorse as part of celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of a policy paper that preceded Yukon’s modern self-government agreements. In 1973, First Nations chiefs travelled to Ottawa to deliver the document to then-prime minister Pierre Trudeau.
