The Montreal Canadiens traded goaltender Jake Allen to the New Jersey Devils for a conditional third-round draft pick ahead of the NHL trade deadline. Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes commended the 33-year-old Allen's professionalism during his time with the team, but says he was the odd man out among Montreal's three goalies.(Mar. 8, 2024)
