Newsroom Ready: Northern Alberta Métis community rebuilds settlement after May wildfire

The East Prairie Métis Settlement lost about 70 infrastructures to the wildfires in the early days of May, says councillor Reva Jaycox. Of those, at least 40 infrastructures were homes and 14 were lived in. The councillor says the damages are at a low estimate of $11.5 million. (July 14, 2023)
