Sixteen shelter dogs in Nova Scotia after rescue from wildfires in Hay River, N.W.T.

Eleven puppies and five adult dogs were flown to Halifax from Alberta and will eventually be put up for adoption. The animals had been living in Alberta since an evacuation order was issued in Hay River. (Sept. 27, 2023)
