Newsroom Ready: James Cameron says Titan implosion was outlier in exploration world

Canadian filmmaker and deep-sea explorer James Cameron says preparation is critical in exploration, but he calls the Titan implosion an outlier in decades of safe diving. The Royal Canadian Geographic Society has opened a new exhibition about his own submersible, the Deepsea Challenger, which he took to the deepest part of the ocean in 2012. (July 18, 2023)
