Union cites 'dirty tricks' in B.C. port strike

Hundreds of striking port workers attended a solidarity rally near the Vancouver waterfront to mark their sixth day on the picket line as they seek a new contract with the BC Maritime Employers Association. Rob Ashton, president of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Canada, says employers are waiting for the federal government to do their 'dirty work' instead of negotiating an end to the strike.(July 6, 2023)
