Police in Waterloo say triple stabbing at university campus was hate-motivated

Police in Waterloo, Ont., say a triple stabbing during a gender studies class at a university campus is believed to have been a hate-motivated attack as they laid multiple charges against a 24-year-old former student. A day after the attack on Wednesday, students, faculty, and staff gathered at the University of Waterloo to express their solidarity with the LGBTQ community. (June 29, 2023)
