A Guardsman patrols the road in front of Clarence House, Prince Elizabeth's London home. Just after the Princess returned from Epsom, Miss Joan Miles, 40 year old telephonist, was attacked from behind while seated at the switchboard of her exchange, on the first floor of Clarence House. Scotland Yard announced that no unauthorised person had entered the house during the evening.
