American racing driver Carroll Shelby fits into a special built Austin Healey which he will drive in a record attempt on Bonneville Salt Flats in September. He was at the British Motor Corporation sports car works at Abingdon, Berkshire, for 'fittings'. Shelby, along with co-drivers TH Wisdom and Ed Leavens, will attempt an endurance trial to achieve more than two miles a minute for twelve consecutive hours
