New Golf Garb-- Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat etc., stays these couriers of the women's golf world from their appointed par-shooting duties, judging from this picture of Marlene Stewart Streit at St. Andrews, Scotland, recently. With the gallery bundled in warm, rain-protective clothing, Marlene trotted out something new in golfing attire to win her Commonwealth Golf tourney round, 3 and 1, from England's Elizabeth Price. Britain won the inaugural event, with Canada second, South Africa third, Australia fourth and New Zealand fifth. 6/10/1959
