1994: The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh arrive by Range Rover on the beach at Arromanches, Normandy, for the 50th anniversary memorial service of the Second World War D-Day Landings. *20/12/01: Pictures of a new specially built Bentley State Limousine, that the Queen will use for state occasions, has been released. The car has been created to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee and will be presented to her in May 2002.
