Tibetan buddhists demonstrate for a free Tibet and for the liberation of the Panchen Lama, on the day of his 23rd birthday - in Paris, France on April 25, 2013. Gendun Choekyi Nyima was kidnapped by Chinese authorities in 1995 after being officially recognized as the 11th Panchen Lama, one of Tibet's most important religious leaders. He was only six years old. For seventeen years he and his family have been held under house arrest in an unknown location. Photo by Alain Apaydin/ABACAPRESS. COM
