Series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman would also be returning. HBO Max and Warner Bros. TV declined to comment on the report. "Friends" is officially leaving Netflix at the end of 2019. It will debut on HBO Max sometime in 2020. WarnerMedia paid $425 million over five years for the exclusive streaming rights for "Friends."
