Chretien recalls 'difficult debate' over Maple Leaf in 1960s

Former prime minister Jean Chretien says choosing a new flag in 1965 was an "emancipation" for Canada. Chretien, who supported the Maple Leaf as an MP 50 years ago, recalls booing and "pushing around" after the vote in Parliament.
