They were at a meeting in Jersey of British-Irish Council, which was set up in the Good Friday Agreement to bring together representatives of the Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man to discuss issues affecting the whole of the British Isles.
