A musician who played guitar alongside John Lennon and Paul McCartney in a skiffle band has died, it was confirmed Tuesday February 1, 2005. Eric Griffiths, who was 64, was in the band, which took its name from Quarry Bank High School in Liverpool, from 1956 to 1958, before joining the merchant navy. See PA story SHOWBIZ Beatles.
