The Scottish Parliament has decided that 200,000 sheep in Scotland are to be slaughtered in a bid to eradicate foot-and-mouth disease. * All sheep on farms within three kilometres of infected premises will be culled and all sheep flocks containing animals that can be traced to infected markets will also be slaughtered.
