Speaking to a crowd of protesters at a rally and march held on the university's campus. Protest was held in solidarity with university students across America demanding that their respective schools divest resources that contribute to Israel's ongoing siege of the Gaza Strip. The ‘1948 Nakba’, was when 750,000 Palestinians, 80%+ of the population in what would become the State of Israel, were expelled or fled from their homes and became refugees.
