June 16, 2024, Hong Kong, China: An image display samples of now banned protest T-Shirts issued by former pro-democracy organizations ( now all of them defunct ), once worn by many Hong Kong citizens during a protest, and on ordinary days before the implementation of HONG KONG NATIONAL SECURITY LAW in 2020 and enforcement of ARTICLE 23 this year. In recent case, a Hong Kong man was denied bail under Article 23, after he allegedly wore a T-Shirt illustrated with banned protest slogan and an image of a Yellow Mask ( Yellow , a symbolic colour signalling protest during 2014 Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong ).
